Thanks to super genius Brian Lukoff the website no longer looks like the Kool-Aid Guy threw up on it. It’s a little more like an actual website, and the blog isn’t really the focus, BUYING MY CRAP IS!!!! Not that I blogged too terribly often. Also! I’m co-hosting the Austin Nerd slam on Oct. 4th. We’re featuring the originator, Shappy Seasholtz. Lots of nerds. Lots of prizes. Lots of fun!

And lastly, I got to meet and hang with Elijah Wood yesterday! He showed up at Fantastic Fest (which I’m volunteering at) and helped us stuff badges. He is f’n awesome. Super cool, just a rad dude all around. He even let me get a video where he says: “K Ruckus DOESN’T suck!” Now I have proof!

… and It’s awesome. I have a lot to convey, and no way to do so. I am humbled beyond belief, yet at the same time it’s making me SO MUCH MORE COCKY-ER! Thank you to my community and to Slam master Danny Strack. I have waited a year and seven months. Written, and re-written and pushed. For it to finally pay off is an elation. I bought a Cigar almost 2 years ago for my first “Austin Win”. It tasted really, really sweet last night.
